“Happy Celebration of the Cultural Communities Week to all Philippine Indigenous Peoples (IPs)!
As a T’boli educator, cultural worker, community and youth organizer, and artist, I strongly believe that this is a celebration of resiliency, power, and strong Indigenous Cultural Communities (ICCs). We have shown unity and compassion in the years during the COVID-19 pandemic.
We shall continue being an inspiration to each other. As one IP Community, together, we shall overcome all problems that we are facing, especially in restoring and protecting our arts, culture, heritage, and traditions, so the next generation may enjoy them.
Sesotu tekuy kem tribu, abay no bele tekuy yom ktengon ne kendengen tebel yom kut kem ifuy! (Let’s all unite as a tribe, for we are the source of knowledge and wealth that were left by our ancestors)
Mabuhay ang mga Katutubong Pilipino!”
