9th Virtual Flag Raising Ceremony 2023

04 September 2023 || National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) conducted its 9th Virtual Flag Raising Ceremony via Zoom Meeting.
As part of NCIP’s learning and development initiatives, a resource person from the Civil Service Commission – Region VI discussed the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) as a mechanism to empower government agencies by developing their human resource management competencies, systems, and practices toward HR excellence.
During the ceremony, Chairperson Capuyan showed NCIP 2024 Budget Presentation focusing on NCIP’s accomplishments, issues, concerns, and ways forward from 1998 to 2023; further, presentations of Certificate Precondition (CP) application status, milestone accomplishments from CY 2000 to 2023, and Ancestral Domain (AD) Geographic Information Systems (GIS) were shown.
To conclude the activity, NCIP Bureau directors provided updates on their offices’ respective programs, and encouraged Regional Offices to continue to perform efficiently to uphold the rights and well-being of Indigenous Cultural Communities/Indigenous Peoples.
