NCIP Pampanga Community Service Center and Department of Information and Communications Technology Region 3 gladly announce the commencement of another pioneering partnership project this July 2022!
In an online planning and inception meeting today, the two agencies will conduct a pilot face-to-face IP Youth Digital Literacy Training on July 18 to 22, 2022. Using five training modules, the project seeks to provide basic training course on the following:
-Computer and Internet Essentials
-Computer Hardware, Networking, and Troubleshooting
-Document Processing
-Electronic Spreadsheet
-Multimedia Presentation
The digital literacy training comes after the successful launching of the Porac IP #Tech4ED Center last May 17, 2022 which further enabled the ICCs/IPs access to various ICT and government services. Future prospect also includes the same training for IP Cooperatives from the ancestral domains in Pampanga.
This project is also in cooperation with the Local Government Unit of Bayung Porac and Office of the Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representation to the Sangguniang Bayan of Porac.
Today’s meeting was led by DICT Pampanga head Mr. Edriel Miranda, and NCIP Pampanga Community Service Center Chief Mr. Kevin Fonseca. Present also were Engr. Randel Fajardo and IP Youth Leader Ms. Jonalyn Bayotas.
