As one of the activities under Stage 1 of the Delineation and Recognition of Ancestral Domains, Conflict Resolution was conducted today at So. Manibukyot, Brgy. Bueno, Capas, Tarlac by Provincial Delineation Team (PDT) headed by Provincial Officer Engr. Michael H. Baldonado together with San Jose Municipal IPMR Edna Villegas and Barangay Iba IPMR Johnny Basillio.
3rd Mechanized Battalion secure the safety of the PDT and the Tribal Officials and Elders of the three (3) Sitios – Baag, San Pedro and Manibukyot. Also, they provide service vehicle in transporting the elders and officials of Sitio San Pedro and Sitio Baag to the venue.
Conflict Resolution was held to discuss the inclusion of Sitio San Pedro to the Ancestral Domain Claim of Mani-Baag (Manibukyot and Baag). The meeting ended successfully as Tribal Elder Brigido Salazar of Manibukyot and Tribal Chieftain Victor Mayoyo heartfully accepted Sitio San Pedro with the following provisions:
1. Only residents of San Pedro who owns parcel of land at Sitio Baag are included in the CADT Claim.
2. Marcial Salazar, son of Brigido Salazar is the new authorized representative to file and follow-up the CADT Application
3. Chieftain Victor Mayoyo will represent Sitio Baag
4. Chieftain Rudy Dela Cruz will represent Sitio San Pedro
All the provisions are included in the resolution affixed with the signatures of all Leaders and Elders of the three Sitios.
The application are now renamed with SAMANIBAAG which consists of the three Sitios as SA for San Pedro, MANI for Manibukyot and BAAG.
