Possible Tech4ED Centers for The IP Communities in The Future
LOOK: The National Commission on Indigenous Peoples Region 3 through the DICT Region 3 flagship program: Technology for Economic Development (Tech4ED) was able to establish four (4) Centers closer to the IP Communities since F.Y. 2022 to present. The Technology for Economic Development or Tech4ED is a project component of the Filipino program that aims to harness ICT to enable, empower and transform society towards creating an inclusive, integrated, and equitable countryside.
This project is made possible through the coordinative efforts of NCIP Region 3, pursuing technology to be available to the Indigenous Cultural Communities/Indigenous Peoples (ICCs/IPs) of Central Luzon and bold initiatives of DICT Region 3 to colaborate and bring Tech4ED Centers closer to the IPs.
As to date, the DICT Region 3 was able to establish 4 Tech4ED Centers close to our ICCs/IPs in Central Luzon, to wit:
1. Porac, Pampanga
2. Carranglan, Nueva Ecija
3. Capas, Tarlac
4. Botolan, Zambales
With this, our heartfelt thanks to the DICT Region 3, its management, and to all of the hardworking staff who made this project possible. We will closely monitor and coordinate the said project and pursue for the establishment of more possible Tech4ED Centers for the IP Communities in the future.
Malakeya halamat, DICT Region 3!
