EARLIER: National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) Chairperson Secretary Allen Capuyan with NCIP Commissioner for the Cordillera and Region 1 Gaspar Cayat and Commissioner for Central Visayas Jennifer Pia Sibug-las turned-over a copy of NCIP’s “Pagtaguyod” coffee table book to National Commission for Culture and the Arts Chairperson Arsenio Lizaso

A copy of the coffee table book was also given to the City Government of Baguio and other guests at the #KapihanSaBaguio media forum for Baguio City’s Montañosa Film Festival.
The “Pagtaguyod” coffee table book is part of the three coffee table books launched by the NCIP under Project “Epanaw” or Journey that aim to present a true and accurate picture of indigenous peoples, giving readers a better understanding of “our fellow countrymen and women revealing who they are.” The “Pagtaguyod” coffee table book showcases destinations, protected areas, critical infrastructure and natural resources in ancestral domain areas in the Philippines.
