First Central Luzon IP Women’s Conference
Discrimination is one of the 14 Major Thematic Concerns identified by the Indigenous Peoples themselves. It takes different forms and NCIP is proactively responding through its programs, activities and projects. It is believed thatby giving them platforms to organize, build networks and inspire each other could help address this pressing concern. As such, this project aims to empower one of the most vulnerable sector within the IPs and that is IP Women. This project will highlight the inherent role of IP Women in various community development thematic such as education, culture, health and governance. The First Central Luzon IP Women’s Conference proudly presents selected IP Women across Central Luzon who made and are continuously making a positive impact to their respective Indigenous Cultural Communities.
