HAPPENING NOW: Levelling-off and harmonization, and policy-proofing on the NCIP Administrative Order No. 2, s. 2019 or the guidelines on the issuance of Certificate of Confirmation (COC) of ICCs/IPs membership.
For all its intent and wide array of purposes, the COC issued by the NCIP has been the center of controversy in the past until today, and the Commission is taking a hard stance on eliminating corruption involved in its processing.
This is in line with the fulfillment of the IPs’ right to recognition and self-determination.
