In the Philippines, conserving unique biodiversity relies on the knowledge, innovations , and practices of indigenous and local communities who live in direct contact with nature

The Egongot communities in Dipaculao, Aurora Province are conservation partners 🤝 of UNDP Philippines. The Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities Conserved Areas and Territories covers 30,730 hectares of ancestral domains and waters along the ridges⛰ and reefs🌊 of the Sierra Madre Mountain Range.
