Nagkaka1sang Bumabangon: The 2023 Pre-SONA Caravan

As President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s second State of the Nation Address (SONA) draws near, the Presidential Communications Office (PCO), through the Philippine Information Agency (PIA), kicks off the ‘Nagkaka1sang Bumabangon: The 2023 Pre-SONA Caravan’ at the Las Piñas East National High School in Las Piñas City on May 10, 2023.
Officials from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Department of Health (DOH), National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), PIA, Commission on Population and Development (POPCOM) and local government of Las Piñas City are in attendance to take questions from the public on the government’s different services.
Participants can also avail of free services on-site such as the DOH-Metro Manila Center for Health Development’s (MMCHD) vaccine against measles-rubella and oral polio for children aged 0-59 months, Philippine Cancer Society’s breast cancer screening, DSWD’s financial assistance through the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) Program, POPCOM-NCR’s family planning services, and other assistance from the NCRPO and Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth).
