National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) and Phil-Tower Consortium (PTCI) signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the Digital Roadmap with Indigenous Community Project at the NCIP Central Office in Quezon City.
This partnership aims to promote technological advancement and sustainable digital transformation among Indigenous Cultural Communities/Indigenous Peoples (ICCs/IPs), and contribute to the access of economic opportunities to uplift their well-being.
The activity was also an opportunity to solidify the obligations and responsibilities of PTCI and NCIP through a ceremonial signing of a Pledge of Commitment underscoring the joint endeavors are rooted in the aspirations for sustainable and mutually advantageous development for ICCs/IPs.
To conclude the program, NCIP Chairperson Capuyan provided copies of the Project Epanaw Coffee Table Books (CTBs), 2021-22 Annual Accomplishment Reports, and posters of 11 Building Blocks Framework to PTCI.
The NCIP was represented by Chairperson Capuyan, while Mr. Devid Gubiani, Chief Executive Officer of PTCI attended the activity.
