NCIP-ARAW HOSPITALITY GROUP FORGED A PARTNERSHIP FOR TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY OPPORTUNITY FOR ICCs/IPs

04 September 2023 | National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) and Araw Hospitality Group Inc. (AHGI) signed a Memorandum of Agreement or MOA, held at the UNWND Boutique Hotel, Makati City.
Representing the NCIP were Chairperson Allen A. Capuyan along with Acting Director Glenda Alcantara Pua, Commissioner Gaspar A. Cayat (via Zoom); while the AHGI was represented by Mr. Mardonio Cornelio V. Caedo, Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Jean Henri Lhuillier, Chief Enlightener, and Ms. Cybille B. Barcebal, CSR Champion and Corporate Wellness Manager.
This partnership courses towards an initiative that amplifies the presence of the ICCs/IPs not only by recognizing them as the stewards of our nation’s diverse culture and traditions, but also as invaluable contributors to the thriving Hospitality and Tourism businesses in the country.
Through this partnership, the ICCs/IPs will have the opportunity for employment in the service industry to the ARAW’s chain of hotels, resorts, and villas as they showcase their skills, and cultural products and practices in their approach to Hospitality Management which will help reshape the way tourists experience the Philippines.
Also present to witness the MOA signing ceremony were Dir. Hazel Marjorie Lucas, Dir Rosanna Lingating, Dir Gillian Dunuan and Dir Mary Grace Buasen. All Commissioners, Bureau and Regional Directors and their staff have witnessed the event via zoom platform.
