Ribbon cutting ceremony for the launch of the Mobile Command and Control Center Vehicle (MOCCOV)

NEDA 3 RD Gina T. Gacusan with DOST 3 RD Julius Caesar V. Sicat and OCD 3 DRRM Division Head Shelby A. Ruiz took part in the ribbon cutting ceremony for the launch of the Mobile Command and Control Center Vehicle (MOCCOV) in Central Luzon.

The MOCCOV is the latest S&T intervention in disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation funded by the DOST Community Empowerment thru Science and Technology, a program that aims to build progressive, empowered, and resilient rural communities. The custom-made vehicle will facilitate the swift coordination and communication among national and local government agencies responding to disaster as it provides real-time situational awareness.

The launching of MOCCOV kicked-off the celebration of the National Disaster Resilience Month 2022 held at NEDA 3 Covered Court, DMGC, City of San Fernando, Pampanga on 01 July 2022.
