CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga, June 3 (PIA) — National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) teamed up with local government units, a civil society organization and a school in the provision of relief assistance to about 11, 920 Indigenous Peoples (IPs) households in Zambales.
“Zambales is home to most of the IPs in Central Luzon and our offices there faced a daunting task of coordination, information dissemination and delivery of basic services particularly food at the onset and during the enhanced community quarantine period,” NCIP Regional Director Ruben Bastero said.
Partners included the Assisi Foundation Development. Inc. and Lyceum of the Philippines University Manila.
