The consolidation of the plans of Ayta Magbukun ICCs/IPs in Mariveles and Bagac AD

The consolidation of the plans of Ayta Magbukun ICCs/IPs in Mariveles and Bagac AD continues for the sustainable management and development of their land and natural resources as well as the development of human and cultural resources based on their indigenous knowledge, systems and practices.
The JVOFI represented by Ms. Corazon P. Sajonas, Andrew Dan David Banal with Ms. Miks Padilla and NCIP ADSDPP Team conducted a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and Key Informant Interview (KII) in sectoral groups to determine the Socio-Political Profile, Socio-Cultural and Socio-Economic Profile of Ayta Magbukun ICCs/IPs. The next day, the plenary of session of FGD & KII was also validated by the ICC/IPs.
The ICCs/IPs’ view on development puts emphasis on the inter-generational responsibility of the present generation to comprehensively and
sustainably manage their ancestral domain and all resources found therein so that future generations may enjoy them that is why the IP Youth took part and actively participated. Such plan shall be the basis of the Five Year Master Plan for ICCs/IPs.

On the third day, the ADSDPP Data Gathering was also participated by the representative from Local Development Office, Ceries D. Glean, MPDO, Fernando V. Bello II and MENRO Head, Isabel Lanada.
