The National Commission on Indigenous Peoples Region 3 Attended the MAGNA CARTA OF THE POOR (MCP) REGIONAL DATA GENERATION IN REGION III
THE NAPC conducted the two (2) day Regional Data Generation Workshop on the Magna Carta of the Poor (MCP) for Central Luzon Cluster held at Azzurro Hotel, Angeles City, Pampanga.
The representatives from different Line Government Agencies in Region III participated the two-day MCP Orientation Workshop. The following LGAs participated in the MCP, namely: CDA, CHED, DA, DENR, DEPED, DHSUD, DILG, DMW, DOH, DOLE, DPWH, DSWD, NCIP, DTI, NHA, NFA, NIA, NNC and TESDA. They reported their respective anti-poverty programs, projects and activities (PPA’s) which focused on the Five (5) Fundamental Rights of the Poor in accordance with RA 11291, to wit:
1) Right to Adequate Food,
2) Right to Decent Work,
3) Right to Relevant and Quality Education,
4) Right to Adequate Housing; and
5) Right to Highest Attainable Standard of Health.
