The NCIP Region 3 through the Regional Monitoring and Evaluation Team (RMET)

The National Commission on Indigenous Peoples Region 3 through the Regional Monitoring and Evaluation Team (RMET), carries out its monitoring and evaluation duties through its midyear monitoring visit to the project areas in Region III. The overall objective of the activity is to ensure the effective and efficient implementation of programs and services for the ICCs/ IPs in Central Luzon and to provide technical support to the Field Units to reinforce its functionality.

Started yesterday, June 12, 2022, the monitoring team conducted the process through an entrance conference with the Aurora Provincial Office and CSC-project implementing staff for the objective setting and discussion of administrative and program matters.

Today, June 13, 2022, the monitoring team will be visiting the socio-economic project site in Casiguran, Aurora as part of a touch base approach in assessing the status of the project. Meanwhile, a virtual conference meeting will be done through the facilitation of the Acting Regional Director, Atty. Roman A. Antonio, to discuss pressing legal matters in province.

An exit conference will be done after the monitoring activity to discuss the findings and recommendations so as to identify strategic ways forwards in implementing/ completing the on-going projects in the province. Last week, the RMET conducted its monitoring and evaluation to the provinces of Bataan and Zambales.
