Today is #WorldWildlifeDay!
This year’s theme, “Recovering key species for ecosystem restoration,” seeks to draw attention on the state of the endangered and critically endangered species of wild flora and fauna, their role in the ecosystem, and the importance of conservation efforts to save them.
World Wildlife Day is being observed on March 3 of each year, following the proclamation of the United Nations General Assembly. World Wildlife Day aims to raise awareness for the world’s wild animals and plants.
Stay tuned for the virtual celebration happening today at 9:00am.
