Turned-over copies of the “NCIP Project EPANAW Coffee Table Books, namely, PAGKILALA (Recognition), PAGGALANG (Respect), and PAGTAGUYOD (Promote)” to Museo Ning Angeles

ANGELES CITY— The National Commission on Indigenous Peoples Region 3 turned-over copies of the “NCIP Project EPANAW Coffee Table Books, namely, PAGKILALA (Recognition), PAGGALANG (Respect), and PAGTAGUYOD (Promote)” to Museo Ning Angeles represented by Mr. Jing Torno and Mr. Lucio Sison.
Mr. Sison gave a brief history of the founding of Angeles City. The Ayta ICCs/IPs were the first inhabitant of Angeles. Due to settlement of non-IPs to Angeles, the Ayta were driven to migrate in neighboring towns such as Porac, Mabalacat, and Floridablanca. The Angeles City has an IP Community situated in Sitio Target, Brgy. Sapang Bato. The Museo Ning Angeles is grateful for the copies of CTBs and stated that it will be a great addition to their museum as it captures the National Indigenous Cultural Communities and especially in Central Luzon.
