
Validation and courtesy visit to Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representative (IPMR) of Porac, Pampanga
PORAC,PAMPANGA–The National Commission on Indigenous Peoples Region 3, NCIP Pampanga Community Service Center, in partnership with DICT Pampanga conducted a validation and courtesy visit to Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representative (IPMR) of Porac, Pampanga for the proposed #Tech4ED program of the Department of Information and Communications Technology – Luzon Cluster 2 to the IP Community of Porac, Pampanga. Upon validation, the DICT approved the placement of the proposed program in Porac, Pampanga.
The Technology for Economic Development or Tech4ED is a project component of the eFilipino program that aims to harness ICT to enable, empower and transform society towards creating an inclusive, integrated, and equitable countryside. Ongoing coordination of both agencies will be strengthened to be able to launch the Tech4ED program soon to the ICCs/IPs of Porac, Pampanga. DICT’s Tech4ED will not only focus on the provision of ICT hub but also in the provision of ICT related capability building activities and trainings to the community. In our generation where we can maximize the use of technology, the government extends its assistance to our IPs to be able to adapt in the trend where the ICT advances in the midst of pandemic.
