Workshop on the Regional Plan of Action for Children (RPAC) – North Luzon Cluster on June 19-24, 2023 at Baguio City

The National Commission on Indigenous Peoples Region 3 attended the Workshop on the Regional Plan of Action for Children (RPAC) – North Luzon Cluster on June 19-24, 2023 at Baguio City. The main objective of the activity is to be able to formulate RPAC for 2023-2028 of Regions in order to identify priority issues along with the four (4) core rights of children (survival, development, protection, and participation).
The Regional Sub-Committee for the Welfare of Children – Central Luzon led the delagates from different government agencies such as DSWD, NCIP, DILG, DEPED, and PSWDO Pampanga. The NCIP Region 3 as the representative agency representing IP Children in Central Luzon emphasized the importance of the rights and welfare of IP Children in all aspects to be included in the RPAC in accordance with the four (4) core rights of children.
The North Luzon Cluster is composed of Regions CAR, I, II, and III and the first cluster to conduct the RPAC Cluster Worshops led by the Council of the Welfare of Children.
